Reluctantly, Masafumi broke his hand from Flytes to find the house key that he had burried in his pocket. A few moments later, he pulled the silver item out and attempted to stick it into the key hole. At first, Masafumi couldn't find it. It was too dark for him to see. After a few more moments, he had overcome his bad eyesight and opened the door. He moved aside to let Flyte go in and get settled first.

"Hm?" Masafumi stated. "Oh, I don't know." He laughed. He was being a retard, but he was tired anyway so hopefully Flyte didn't find it too odd. He fallowed inside after her and closed the door just in time to block out a cold breeze from the night.

Flyte sighed and stood in the hallway uncertainly. Last time she had a purpose for being there. Now she didn't, and it just felt weird. Especially knowing she was going to live there.

Masafumi soon collapsed on the couch and sighed. "It was cold out there," he said smiling before closing his eyes, making it obvious how tired he was.

Flyte sat down besides him and smiled.
"Yeah." She couldn't feel her arms, in fact. She rubbed them and hoped she wouldn't get frostbite. That would suck. Horribly. "Maybe you should...um...go to bed." She said quietly.

Masafumi opened one eye as she sat down. "I'm comortable," he said as he sank down on the couch. He smiled a little at her. "I'll go to bed soon, I guess.."

"Just-" Flyte's sentence was cut off by a coughing fit. "Oh dammit, I hate the cold." She muttered after it was over, hugging herself.
Please not another cold. Oh please, please, please.

Masafumi stood up as she started coughing. He opened the closet and took out a blanket. "There's more in your room too," he stated as he handed her the fleece fabric. "I'll turn on the heater..." He walked over to a thermistat and turned it up a little.

"It's okay." Flyte laughed, just as her cellphone beeped. She pulled it out and stared at the number for a second. When it rang a second time she flipped it open.
"Hello..." She muttered, holding her breath. "No, sir, I haven't... Over by the dishwasher, I think... Yes, sir...No, sir...I didn't..." She waited as he lectured her for a moment. "No, sir, I wouldn't...Good evening, sir." She closed the phone sighed.

Masafumi sat back down beside her. "Your father?" he asked quietly. He stretched a little before sinking back down the couch, almost falling off.

Flyte nodded silently and looked away for a second.
"Accusing me of stealing again. He never learns." She sighed and fingered her cellphone. It rang again, making her jump. She opened it, clearly confused.
"Hello?" She pulled the phone away from her ear, and the person on the other end could be heard clearly.
"IT DISAPPEARED AGAIN! STOP YOUR BLACK MAGIC!" She put it to her ear again.
"It's under the sofa, sir." She said, and waited until he hung up to close the phone again.

Masafumi raised an eyebrow and looked at her. "He's... nice..." he lied in a whisper. He sighed. "Do they always do this to you?"

"Just my father. My mother's nice, but she's too afraid of him to do anything." Flyte shrugged and looked away. "It's okay, I'm used to it by now." She never really thought about it anymore. It had just become part of her daily routine.

Masafumi thought for a moment. Soon, he fell over and laid his head on her lap, his legs hanging over the arm of the couch. "I guess it could be worse," he said, shrugging a little. "Parents are usually bitches and all that shit."

"Yeah." Flyte said, rubbing her shoulder and staring off. She didn't even seem to notice Masi. Several more coughs brought her back down to earth, and she draped her arm over Masi's chest. "Yeah." She repeated, forgetting she had already said it.

Masafumi looked a little distant, but her coughs set him off. He almost jumped to his feet, but he stayed put. Slowly, he put his hand over hers and smiled. "I'll get you some cough medicine," he whispered and smiled up at her. Just a few seconds later, he hid his face in her stomache.

Masafumi shrugged. "I don't know," he said. Though he didn't want to move at all, he stood back up and walked into a different room. He came back out with a bottle of some sort of liquid. He walked over to her and sat back down. "It's for your cough..."

"It doesn't matter." Flyte said softly, pressing her hands together. "I get sick all the time." She paused, not sure if that was a good thing to have said. "I'm sensitive to the cold, I guess." She shrugged. Before she could have buried herself in snow wiht only a t-shirt and jeans on. But when she got the tattoo, she started wearing sweaters, and her body grew too accustomed of being warm all the time.

Masafumi leaned on her a little. "I still want to help," he said, playing puppy eyes. "I don't want you getting sick." He laid back down again.
"Sleep..." he ended up mumbling and stood back up. "I'll show you your room."

Masi smiled and took her hand. "Come on," he said and started walking down a hall, but stopped right in front of a door. He started opening it and stepped aside. "You can do whatever you want to. We'll paint it too if you want." He shrugged a little.

((So damn bored that I'm making it morning D< ))
Flyte thought that it must have been one of her worst nights. She kept waking up feeling sick, and it took her forever to go back to sleep. One time she woke up and thought she saw someone in the room. But she wasn't sure if it had been a dream or not. Finally she just got out of bed and kneeled by the window. With her elbows propped up on the windowsill, she watched the moon fall away and the sun come up.
