"I'm going home." Flyte said, not looking at Masi. She stroked Kimana absentmindedly. The monkey looked up at him and blinked twice.
Flyte wasn't even sure which way the woods were, but that didn't really bother her. For some reason she had a pretty good feeling she was going the right way. And if she wasn't, she would just keep walking until she found it.

Masafumi stopped for a moment, but started again. "Flyte," he whispered. "You're staying with me now, remember? I can take you home." He didn't like this at all. Why did she have to do this? It made him feel fake, not existant. He was there for her, yet sometimes he just... wasn't to her.

"I can take myself home, too." Flyte said. She looked down and watched her feet move. Her eyes were clouded, and it was obvious she wasn't 'there' at the moment. Kimana settled down into her arms. She liked when the girl was like this. She generally liked Flyte no matter what, but this was just a better form of her than the rest.

Masafumi stepped in front of her and placed his hands on her shoulder. "Flyte," he said calmly. "It'll be quicker if we drive... You'll probably get to hear the owls." He thought mentioning the owls would make her let him drive back home and not to the woods. He did have some owls in the tree anyway.

"Gas from the car pollutes the air." Flyte said, stopping and looking at him. "And then it eats away the ozone layer, causing the greenhouse effect. Then the ice from the poles melts, causing the shoreline to get higher, and leaving less land all around the world." She started walking past him again.

And people called Masafumi a book worm. She obviously wasn't there at all. She would know that he would have known that already. He just let her walk past. It wasn't like he could stop her at this point. Sighing, he turned back to the car. What was he to do? She wouldn't listen to him. Not now anyway. She didn't like listening to him.

Flyte kept walking. Kimana stuck her tongue out at Masi, then hid her face in Flyte's arm, like a little kid.
((Not sure what to say...making a new thread in the trails xD This one is getting way too big))
