Flyte sighed and fingered the foam cup in front of her. She hadn't even begun to drink it. Right then her stomache just felt like a lump of clay. She leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes, wondering what she should do. It was obvious she couldn't get Tony to go back. Nor would he ever leave her alone. She didn't really have any where to go, and even if she did, she couldn't leave Past.

Across the way, there was Masafumi. He was lost in a book with a cup of coffee which now appeared to be empty or cold. There was little chance of him leaving his world that turned with the pages of his book. The only movement that came from him was blinking, breaking, and turning pages.

Aaji walked in idly, hands in his pockets. When he spotted Flyte he immediately sat down across from her. "Don't leave, I'm not going to touch you." He said quickly. "I just wanted to apologize. I get...territorial."

Flyte looked up and scowled. "I'm not land." She growled, standing up. "You have no right to get...'territorial' over me. Now good- eep!" She had turned to leave, but caught her foot on the chair leg and tumbled to the ground, along with the chair.

Masafumi looked up to find Flyte on the floor. He set his book down and went over to kneel by her side then eyed up at Aaji. "Do you ever give up?" he barked. As he stood up, Masi offered Flyte his hand to help her up.

"I was saying sorry." Aaji snapped back, also standing up. "I don't see why you have the right to stalk her." He was starting to get realy annoyed with this man.

"I'm okay." Flyte stood up and wiping off her pants. She narrowed her eyes. "He was apologizing," she told Masi, then turned to Aaji "And he isn't stalking me! I'm not worth fighting over." She sighed and grabbed her coffee. She was starting to get really confused with the male life.

Masafumi put his hands in his pockets. Shrugging he looked out the window. "At least I'm not a dickhead," he fumed silently. He shook his head and returned to his book, trying not to start anything more. She could handle herself, he knew she could.

"Who're you calling a dickhead?" Aaji had to refrain himself from shouting. he curled his hands into fists and frowned angrily at Masafumi. He didn't know what might be coming for him. Though, in reality, it was Aaji who didn't know.

"He has a point." Flyte shrugged. "And I'd suggest not getting in any fights with him." She smiled and raised her eyebrows. She almost wanted him to, it would be entertaining to see Masi beat him up. And he seemed like the type who did the opposite of what others said.

Masafumi sank in his chair. He knew he was still a part of the conversation at the other table. He tried keeping his eyes to the page, but it took him awhile to turn to the next. He just sighed and placed a book mark to save his page.

Aaji glared at her, but calme down. He knew he would be kicked out for fighting in here. and that wouldn't be good. "Watch your back." He spat at Masi. "Bye beautiful." He sighed and walked past Flyte and alked outside.

"Don't call me that." Flyte muttered under her breath. She almost knuckled him as he passed her, but thought better of it and instead put her cup in front of Masi. "Want it?" She asked with a sigh.

He looked up and smiled. "I barely drank my own," he said pointing to his own coffee. "Put a lot of sugar in it and anyone can down it." He laughed a little, now looking out the window. He turned back to her and smiled again. "You look lovely," he said.

Flyte was taken compeltely by surprise at his last comment. It was so random, and unlike him. "What?" She asked, a little in disbelief. Had he said that or was she imagining things? Besides the fact that she didn't really think she looked that great. Her nail polish wasn't exactly chipped, but it had started to fade, and she didn't have any make-up on except mascara.

He smiled a little. "You went shopping," he laughed a little. "I should start wearing t-shirts without my sweatshirt... Show that *please change this word.* who's who." He shrugged, knowing better.

Flyte smiled. "Amen to that." She said softly, blinking at Masi. For some reason all the doubt she had earlier was gone. She quickly looked away as soon as she realized what she was doing.

He shrugged and sank into his chair again. He was a little bored. He kept his smile, though. He didn't really know what to do, but he never really did. "Maybe I should go back to the club and sing some more," he said to himself.

"You should." Flyte smiled again. "You have a wonderful voice. It matches your eyes." This she wasn't afraid to say. Her really did have wonderful eyes, when they weren't hiding behind his glasses. Well, almost everything about him is wonderful. She thought to herself, but said nothing out loud. She had realized she couldn't pull herself away from her feelings, but atleast she could hide them from others.

Masafumi smiled in thanks. "I don't know," he said. "Contacts just screw with my eyes. You know, change the color and shit. Besides, they hurt..." He pulled out a little case from his pocket; contacts. He laughed a little at himself. He didn't really need them... he guessed.

"So you do have them!" Flyte laughed. "Well, if they hurt you I wouldn't use them." She sat down besides him and pulled the case from him. "I've always wondered how these things work." She really had. Sometimes she lost sleep over it, much like she lost sleep over other silly little things too. It just confused her how you could something in your eye that helped you see, without bothering you. Besides Masi, of course.

He shrugged. "I've had them for a while. I could put them in... but," he trailed off. He didn't really like them in... but he'd be willing to try again if she wanted him to. He didn't mind them, but after a while they burn like hell. "I can't leave them in for a long time, though."

"No, it's okay." Flyte smiled and shrugged. She didn't want him hurting himself for her. "Besides, it would be weird to see you without your glasses. I bet I wouldn't even recognize you." But she knew she would. She didn't think it possible not to recognize him. For various reasons, not just his height.

He shrugged a little. "I'll wear them tomorrow," he said, smiling. He played with his book a little. He flipped the pages over and over again, each time the wind from the book blew his hair away. "I just need to get used to them, I guess. Then they wouldn't bother me so much. I just prefer my glasses."

"You don't have to." Flyte insisted. "Really, if you prefer your glasses, wear your glasses. I'm not stopping you." She brushed her own hair behind her shoulder and leaned over to look at the book's title.

He smiled. "Nah, I need to get over my glasses anyway. If they ever broke, I'd be so screwed," he laughed a little, mostly to himself. As she looked over at the book, there was no way to find out the title. It was kanji. Of course. Fuji could never leave his Kanji back in Japan!

"Hey, japanese boy." Flyte pouted. "I peux pas parler Japonais." She punched his shoulder lightly and giggled. "Peut-ĂȘtre je devrais juste parler Français!"

Masafumi smiled. "Now that's not fair," he protested. "I don't speak in Japanese around you!" He laughed. He really couldn't speak it anymore anyway. Only a few words here and there ever fled his lips out of song. Usually it was only cursing.

Flyte batted her eyes innocently. "Excusez-moi? Je ne peux pas vous comprendre." She smiled. "Alright, alright. Is it a good book?" She thought it must be, if he was reading it. She had fun translating spanish books page by page when she was a bit younger, but Japanese was too hard to do. But now she wished she had just taken the challenge and tried.

No comprendre!" he shouted in mid laugh, but he stopped and sank back down in his chair, realizing that others in the coffee shop were starring at him. He smiled again once she mentioned his book. "Yeah, it's pretty good. I can get you the translated version. If not, I can convert it myself... You might like it more, though. It's a bit more of a romance novel if anything else."
