Flyte smirked. "Romance? Well, haven't read a romance novel in quite a long time. Maybe because they always seem to have a sad ending." She frowned at this, remembering an old book she had stolen from her mother's bookshelf. If she was correct it was lying under her bed at home, waiting for it's worn out pages to be dusted off and read again. Her mother had never finished the book, but Flyte had, and it even made her sad. Which was saying a lot, since it took quite an effort for text to create any kind of emotion in her.

He smiled. "I'll get it translated for you. You'd like it," he stated. He himself was bored of it, but he could never not finish a book... ever. "There's a few scenes that should have been left out, but whatever. I won't argue seeing as the auther's long past this earth."

"I would?" Flyte was doubtful. Even the Harry Potter series bore the crap out of her. She preferred old written books. "I think the only book, that came out within the last five years, that entertains me would be The Davinci Code. Can you top that?" She smiled. She actually had the book in her hotel room. When especially bored she would open to a random page and start reading.

Masafumi smiled. "Yeah, I think you'd like it... I really wasn't too into the Davinci Code, though," he said. "When the world comes to and end, that's when it'll happen. Besides, this book is from a long time back." He shrugged a little and turned his gaze at the window, but he soon realized that the contact case was still out, so he shoved them back into his pocket.

Flyte smiled and shrugged. wiping some hair from her eyes. They looked almost grey at the moment, instead of the usual bright green. She was slumped over slightly in her seat, staring off into space. Her stomach growled hungrily, and she snapped out of it. "Bonne piene." She muttered irritably. She didn't feel like eating, yet her stomach refused to let her believe that.

Masafumi looked back at her. "So what's your plan for the day?" he asked quietly. It was probably just to avoid her brother, but if that really was the case, he'd help in anyway. He didn't like Tony anyway.

Flyte shrugged again. "I dunno. Wander around aimlessly, I guess. I'm good at that." She laughed and played with a lock of her hair. "Maybe I'll go riding. Past is probably getting irritated about being stuck in the stable all day." She was almost scared to ride her, though. She could be really stubborn and cruel if she wanted to. And Flyte had a feeling she wouldn't care less about the human being bucked off.

Masafumi smiled. "You'd be on your own with the riding thing," he said. "But I'd love to meander." He ajusted his glasses for a moment before deciding to just take them off. "Damn things..."

Flyte covered her mouth with her hand and yawned. And then, producing a black lipstick case from a hidden pocket, quickly applied it to her lips and shoved it back. "Meandering it is." She said, taking his glasses and placing them on her own face.

He smiled. "Okay," he whispered. At first, he didn't notice that Flyte had taken his glasses, but realized it just moments later. "That's... interesting..." He didn't know why she wanted his glasses at the moment, but he didn't care.

"Man, these things hurt." She pulled them off and rubbed her eyes. "If you ate your stomach where would it go?" Flyte suddenly asked. She looked at him with complete seriousness. It seemed like a pretty good question to her, even if it was random.

He laughed a little. "It means they work for me," he said, smiling away. He liked his glasses. They always work. He started to laugh a little more with her question about eating one's own stomach. "I think you'd leave the world before you'd get to actually eat it... But if you managed it, it would probably fall into the hole that once was your stomache." He shrugged. She probably wasn't really looking for an answer, but that's what she got.

"Oh! That makes sense. And then it would probably fall out of the hole you made in your stomach and get guts and blood all over the floor...that would be interesting. But I'd rather be shot in the head." She nodded. "A lot less pain, I'm guessing. Then again, I still think starving is the best way. It's the best way to kill someone too; lock them in a soundproof room and throw away the key...or melt it, actually. And then melt the doorknob just enough so it can't be picked." She smiled and thought for a second, then decided she was satisfied with her concept.

Masafumi ran a finger across his lower lip. "You're a colorful person today," he laughed. Soon, though, he cocked his head and thought. "Yes, very colorful..." He had never even thought of Flyte acting all bloody, but it was new and different. He just shrugged it off after a while. Maybe she was hyper and slightly high off coffee.

"Is colorful a good thing?" Flyte asked, leaning closer to him and grinning. She was probably the least colorful person...appearance wise, anyway. Black, some white, maybe a tad of red, and more black. She thought black was a wonderful color, though she sometimes found herself wishing she had dirty blonde hair like her mother. Of course she wasn't sure how that would look on her. Probably horrible. She hypothesized.

He smiled. "In your case, sure," he smiled. "From what I've known you for, though, it doesn't really fit you." He had known her to be sweet and all that, so listening to her ramble about something so bloody was rather interesting.

"Oh." Flyte smiled. "I like blood and gore. Most of the books I read include that. I just don't talk about it much because...well, I've got no one to talk to." She shrugged, her smile not fading. "I'll stop, if you want. I guess it's weird for girls to talk like that." She knew shit about girls, so she wasn't quite sure. All she knew was that her mother never said anything like that. Of course, her mother didn't really say anything at all.

He laughed. "That's a first," he stated. He understood that she wasn't your typical girl, but it still seemed a little odd. "Just be yourself, Flyte." He just loved that she was so unique. People are usually so obsessed what other's find to be prefection instead of what they did.

"Okay." She laughed. "I'm good at that." Her stomach let out another growl, and she yawned again. "I woke up too early." She laughed. It was half a lie, because she had to get up a lot earlier for class.

He shrugged a little. "I would have stayed in bed," he said as a broad smile crossed his face. He was one that liked sleeping in till 12 PM. Yeah, he still had to work, and a lot.

"Well, I was on your couch." Flyte pointed out. "You saw how Tony was. Any later he probably would have started throwing punches at you." She sighed. "Maybe if I annoy him enough he'll leave...of course he'll go to Father and he'll kick me out of this place." It seemed like there was no way out.

He shrugged again. "Your brother doesn't scare me, Flyte," he stated, trying not to bark anything. "As for your father, he should back off, too. They can't rule you forever and they shouldn't now. You need to realize that." He looked out the window. He might have been wrong. He had never been ruled by his parents, but his band and manager.

"I know, he doesn't scare me either. And I know they can't control my life. I've known that forever. I just can't stop them. Like Tony said, I'm sixteen." She stared at her lap, her face seeming to overshadow. "I can't do anything. If I tried to run away I'd have no where to go. If I tried to fight back, I'd just get a swollen lip."

Sighing a little, Masafumi turned his gaze back at Flyte. "You need to show them that you don't need controlling," he said. "Maybe they'll get it."

"To them I'm just some emo that they need to make sure doesn't kill itself." Flyte shrugged. "Once I'm eighteen I'm going back to France and finding Aecha." She caught a sob in her throat before it escaped.

Masafumi looked back at the window. "Oh..." he whispered. She was going to leave? Would she really leave? He tried shaking himself of the idea, but couldn't. If she wanted to, she'd go. He already knew that.

He shook himself from his trance to say nothing more then "Nothing." Obviously, it wasn't nothing, but if he could get away from it for right now, that was enough. He'd complain to Hiro and the other's later.

"I know it isn't nothing." Flyte said quietly, poking his arm gently. She was good at realizing sudden shifts in moods. "Is it me? Did I do something?" She asked again, frowning. She didn't want to make him mad at her.

Masafumi turned back to her and smiled. "No, not at all," he said, lying. He wasn't mad at her, but her leaving would be rather hard. He sighed a little. She wouldn't really leave. And if she did, it would explain enough.
