She turned to look at him. "You aren't a dork." She said quietly. "Or a nerd. You aren't grimey either." She foldedher arms across her knees and stared out into the whiteness. She wasn't sure how much her word meant to him, but she didn't care. It was the truth. "Just because someone wears glasses doesn't mean they are any less than people who don't."

Masafumi shrugged. "Thanks, but he can say that all he wants," he stated. "The snake make carry poison, but it's the meerkat that eats them alive." He referred to Aaji being the snake, and the meerkat to himself. He was proud of it. Meerkats were strong for their size and very fiers. He loved the entire idea of kicking Aaji's ass into the dirt, but he must have gotten it bad since Flyte handled it perfectly herself.

Flyte smiled a bit and coughed into her arm. "I guess I got a little out of control. And man, his after taste is disgusting." She wiped her mouth and laughed shakily. "I can't believe I bit that dirty thing."

Masafumi laughed. "Brush, floss, mouth wash," he said, teasing. Soon, he fell back onto the snow and starred up at the sky. Sighing, he found his eyes trailing back over to the girl, but he shot them back up at the sky and kept himself hushed.

"Mhm...lots of it." Flyte looked up at the sky and sighed. "If I ever see him again..." She shook her head and closed her eyes, flopping onto her stomache and burying her closed eyes into her arms. "I wonder what time it is..." She licked her chapped lips. "Aw, who am I kidding? My parents aren't here."

Masafumi smiled. "He's not worth the trouble," Masi added. "Just kick him in the nuts once and he should back down. Trust me, I know."

At this Flyte laughed and turned her head to look at him. "I was going to, but I decided to take mercy on him. Next time though, he won't be so lucky." She turned her face into her sleeves again, muttering under her breath "Rapist."

Masafumi lifted his head from the snow. "Oh, be reasonable. He's not a RAPIST... just a molester..." he said, starting to laugh for some reason. He didn't find it funny, maybe it was just the amusement of Aaji getting his ass kicked.

"They're the same thing!" She punched his arm gently. "...Despite the cold the snow is comfortable..." His jacket was warm though, and she closed her eyes. "Wouldn't it be great just to lay here forever?" She muttered, slipping into unconsciousness and not realizing what she was saying.

Masafumi sat back up. "No, theres a difference!" he protested. "Rapists actually get something. Molesters don't because they're in public in the day-light." He nodded and ended up laughing at himself. Either he was on drugs, or he was having a laughing fit... either way, it wasn't good. He soon noticed that Flyte was starting to drift. "I don't think you want to fall asleep out here, Flyte."

"Mhmmmm..." Was all she could reply, feeling a comfortable darkness stretch over her as her consciousness slipped away. "The sky...is pretty tonight..." Was the last thing she murmured before falling asleep.

Masafumi shook his head with a smile. He wasn't sure what to do, but he ended up carrying her into the stables, thinking that the lounge would now be locked. It was much warmer in there anyway. He set her down in one of the empty (and clean) stalls for her to rest.

Flyte opened her eyes groggily, blinking several times. She sat, wondering where she was. In a stall? She sniffed; her nose was stuffed up and her throat burned irritably. Coughing into her hand she licked her lips and stood up much like a newborn foal. Wha...?" She muttered under her breath, touching her temple and regreting standing up. Because as soon as she had her head started throbbing.
((Might as well make it morning)) Sunlight streamed through the window, and she stared at the square patch it made on the floor.

Masafumi looked in from Past's stall. He had groomed the hay out of her mane from her sleeping the night before. "Morning, sunshine," he teased with a warm smile.

Flyte made a face. "Yea, right, sunshine fits me perfectly." She stared down at her black outfit and shrugged. Sniffing again she unlatched the door and walked out, blinking as she ried to get her head to stop spinning. "What are you doing, giving Masafumi trouble?" She smiled and laid her forehead against Past's.

Masafumi shrugged. "Yeah, she's such a little devil," he stated. "She likes pockets too much." He just smiled at the fae before laughing a little.

Past snorted and pushed his shoulder with her muzzle. "Heh, looks like she didn't like that comment." Flyte smiled and rubbed her neck, before closing her eyes and leaning against the stall door. Dizziness overwhelmed her, and for a second she thought she was going to faint. But then the feeling went away and opened her eyes again. She felt like she was going to throw up, but she didn't.

Masafumi looked at her lightly, a little confusion in his eyes. "Are you okay, Flyte?" he asked, ignoring the horses nudge. He started to rub the horses nose and forelock, but kept his eyes on the girl.

Flyte nodded quickly. "Just a cold." She shrugged. "No big deal, I get sick a lot." Past rested her head on her shoulder, sighing contentedly. Flyte ran her fingers through the horse's mane. "You did I good job brushing her."

Masafumi smiled lightly. "She's a good horse," he said, patting the mare's neck softly. In honesty, he didn't know the difference between a good or bad horse. He knew too little of them to make that assumsion.

Normally Flyte would've noticed, but now she just stared at Past's neck in a daze. She swallowed and coughed then, without warning, darted outside. Landing in the snow, a few paces away from the stable, she vomited.

Masafumi stopped for a moment. He looked at Past then out of the stable. "Flyte?" he asked as he started walking out. "Are you okay?" He knew she wasn't but he knew he should ask, just in case. He knelt beside her, not really knowing what to do. "I'll take you home?" he offered.

Flyte swallowed the foul taste from her mouth and closed her eyes, the coldness seeping into her hands. It took several minutes before her mind started working again. "I-I'm okay." She whispered, pushing away from bile and licking her lips. "Je suis désolé." She muttered under her breath, swallowing again and looking away. Her hair fell like a curtain, blocking her face.

Masafumi stood up and offered her hand. "You don't look it," he debated, but didn't take it any further then that. He smiled lightly, but did nothing more.

Embarrassement stung her, but she hugged her stomach and still didn't look at Masi. She didn't notice the hand he was holding out. Before, she had felt fine around him. Right now she felt like a little kid. "I'm not destined to make friends." She muttered softly. Something always went wrong when she tried, so why did she bother?

Masafumi sat back down beside her. "Don't say that," he stated. He rubbed her back softly in hopes to make her feel a bit better. "It's hard to get close to someone..."

"It's true." Flyte said, not moving. "You're the only person who I can even look at, if I'm not furious. People just...well, I don't rub that well with the human race." She sighed, then jerked suddenly, aware of what she said. "I mean, you're human! I was just saying..." She looked up at him and bit her lip, eyes wide as though expecting him to hit her.

Masafumi smiled. "No, I'm a meerkat," he said, referring to what he stated the day before. "Most people are bitches and are hard to get close to. It's a natural thing... Animals on the other hand, will love you no matter what."

Flyte blinked at him, then started laughing softly. She felt normal again. "If there was one person who had to be my friend, I'm glad it was you." She murmured. "Merci."

Masafumi smiled. "At least I can make you laugh a bit," he stated. He turned his head to the sky and let the white flakes fall to his glasses. Soon, he took them off and cleaned them with a sigh. "Maybe contacts aren't such a bad idea."
