He's probably just ready, Yume. I hate to say it, but it might be his time. I suggest giving him a hug and start letting go. Get yourself ready for it, just in case that is the case...
I'm really sorry though. I know how it feels to lose a loved pet. My dog, Shalin, died when I was eleven. I had her my entire life. We grew up together and she meant the world to me. I still remember her, but I knew her leaving was for the best...

Well....between 3 am and 9am my lovable hamster Bobby passed away. He died of old age and he lived a good life. RIP Bobby!

yeah...and thanks a bunch you guys. I actually didn't even cry, it helped that I talked to you so that I prepared myself for it. And besides he was old and it was time for him to go. I honestly was having a harder time last night because he was suffering...he was having breathing problems. I can stand to see animals pass, with all the ones that have in my life I get used to it.... but the suffering is really hard on me.

Suffering is always the hardest. Be happy you didn't cry. When Shalin died, I bawled my eyes out for weeks. When Mushroom, my neigbors old cat died, I cried for a good long time and he wasn't even mine...

Yeah, i'm glad I'm not the only one at least My neighbors had an old toy poodle name Dougie and their kids never cared about him and kinda ignored him, so he followed me everywhere when I went over and the kids didn't cry when he died.....but I did.

my only sad pet story is about a dog I saw at the pound. The pound was in the city my grandmother lives in, and we were visiting her. But then the neighbor's dog disappeared and we were helping look for him, so we went to pound to see if he was there. Anyway (he wasn't there by the way, some one else found him and gave him back) I saw this really old dog lying in a cage, and I went up to him and managed to get my fingers (I was eight) into the hole and pet his muzzle. He licked my hand, sort of miserable like, and I started begging my mom to get him. Well, of course she said no, and we had to leave. Before we went back home I convinced my mom to take me back, but he was gone, and I asked the manager where he went. "He's living in the dirt now." He said. Oh my gosh, I almost kicked the man...yea....that's my long story about the dog who I met for ten seconds but loved him anyway.

I would have kicked him in the groin! You don't tell an eight-year-old that! You make up a lie! "He was adopted" or "he's in a better place." NOT something like that! OMG!!! *rants*

Yeah, really sad and VERY rude!
Anyway, my most sad pet story is when we got a lab puppy from the pound. We had him for about two months, then one day after I came home from school, (I was 5, in Kintergarden) My mom was crying and I asked what was the matter and she told me that he got hit by a car and died. I cried and cried for who-knows-how-long. But we got a new dog and he's my...call it weird...Bubbers, even though his name is Maxwel.

-_-. these are sad.....mine is that when i was really little I was like four or so, and I had these two really cute cats that my mom had even before she knew my dad...but anyway I was really close to this one named bart and I loved him sooo much cause he was ok with anything, Like I was to young to understand that if your pull a cat tail it hurts, but yea when ever I did that sort of stuff to him he'd be ok with it and the other one wouldn't..(the other one was Jimmy he was really mean, they were brothers but they were also complete oppesites....) well anyway one day Jimmy began to be a pig so he would eat both his and barts food and my mom had noticed bart getting really skinny so she watched them and realised what Jimmy was doing but It was too late then Bart hadnt been eating for so long that as soon as she started sperating them when eating he would just (this may be gross but) puke it up again and jimmy came along and ate it....(no joke) so my mom took him to the vet and apparently it was too sevear so they had to put him down....My mom told me that he had just gone off on an adventure again, as he often did somtimes not returning for days, so I would sit for hours by the window waiting for him...til finally my mom told me the truth....I know horrible story right...well since I hate sad stories heres a sad but happy story...
about four years ago My dad bought me a rabbit, who I named lowla, I lov-ed her sooooooo much, but my parents couldnt stand her since she wouldnt let you touch her or go anywhere near her , besides me though....probably cause I was the one that always gave her food...lol....but anyway about a half a year later My mom and I had to go to maine for a special meet and when i got home two days later I went straight to she lowla and my dog but when i got to lowlas cage she looked strange ( her head was tilted funny to one side ) so I told my parents and they said to just keep and eye on her, so i did, then after a while she would roll onto her side and she could barley stand so we went to the vet and they gave us a medicine to give her and she began getting better for two days then she had a down fall and needed to be held standing up with towels on either side otherwise she would roll and roll and roll and we were afraid she would hurt her spine, so we brought her to the vet and she gave us another medacine which again made her worse and by now I was just about crying for her everyday and was constatly taking her out side so she could see the grass and I'd try to let her hop around But she'd just start rolling, so finally one day she got so back that not even the towels could hold her and she wouldn't eat or anything so for the night my mom laid on the couch with her proped in her arms and in the morning gave her to me and I laid on the couch and watched animal planet with her and telling her about bunny heaven and how she'd be ok, and how much i loved her. then my mom and I went down to the vet to get her put down and we had to put her in a box upside down and wait (which was torture to her and me..then we went in and the vet told us she has a disease called tilt head which is cause by mainly three things and since the first two didnt work it was most likly the third one but if it wasnt the medicine for that problem would kill her so i had to choose either to just get her put down or try the medacine, so I decided to try the medicine and if it killed her atleast she'll know we tried, but it didnt it actually worked, and she's been with me ever since and not just that but also, shes a ton of alot nicer too...so yay happy story, although it was long...>.>....
