Hello, and welcome to the first show of Oceanic. The Bunny Hop has fairly low jumps, around one to two feet high. Memerize the course and make a post. It better be good, your strengths are being judged on it. You will have to be honest as no one can make every single jump unless they're very talented in which case they should not be entering such a simple show, unless they're working with a new horse. If you don't play the horse that you are riding, the horse's RPer must PM you their post so you can post it along with your own. Spelling, grammar, and puncuation counts! 1st - $5k, ribbon 2nd - $2k, ribbon 3rd - $500, ribbon

((Can I just use this one again because I don't want to make another?))
Flyte sat up tall and straight, the Haflinger beneath her standing perfectly still. This was her first show with Past, and she was nervous. She had only been to two or three with Vet. When the judges said her name and gave her the O.K to go, she squeezed Past's sides. The mare flung her head up, as if showing off, and started into a trot. Flyte held her breath, not having expected the second gait immediately. But she went with it and got over the first two jumps. The third one Past pciked up her pace slightly, unexpectedly, and hit the pole. It moved slightly, but stayed on the jump. The fourth went by, but in between that one and the fifth, Past slowed to a walk and turned her head away from the jump. Again, this was unexpected, and Flyte just barely managed to tug on the reins and put her back in line with the jump. Past loped over it at a walk, ignoring her rider's legs as they urged her faster. Finally the girl gave up and kicked Past, getting the horse to a fast trot and then a canter, which knocked over the sixth jump but finished the course cleanly.

Pebble led Sky into the arena by the reins. Before mounting she went to her horse's head and gazed deep into the mare's eyes. She gave Sky a kiss on the forhead before quickly walking over and mounting. Now Pebble raised her chin and sat with perfect posture, she whispered a quiet song to her horse in a calming tone and prayed that all the practice they had done would not be wasted. Beneath her Sky gave a little excited rear and Pebble allowed her to get away with it. Slowly clucking they eased into a shallow trot and then picked their pace up to a canter.
Realizing that the first jump was almost identical to the first one the two had taken together, Pebble's confidence rose. She sent Sky right towards it. She deeply felt her horse's comfort beneath her as they executed the jump perfectly. Then facing the next jump Pebble's heart dropped, they had never practiced that type. Sky faltered and slowed, but with Pebble's persistance she finally managed to jump it... though rather sloppily so that the top pole fell off completley. Pebble sighed sadly, but knew that she had to put that behind her.
She continued to nudge her little beauty until they were once more into a comfortable canter and nearing the next jump. She yelled for the "Up" command and they sailed over it, but the timing was a little off so Sky's hooves tipped the top. Pebble squeezed her eyes shut as she prayed for the pole to stay, and luckily after quite a bit of wobbling it did stay.
She faced towards the last two jumps and gave Sky her head. "Go for it girl! You can do it!" With the unexpected freeness, Sky flew into a gallop, she almost forgot to jump but ended up getting over the 2nd to last fine, but as the very last jump neared all the nervous andrenaline built up. The horse and girl sailed over the jump and Pebble almost shouted for joy, but accidentally lost her good posture and made a bad last impression. She halted Sky and walked her to face the judges. She felt bad about her last move, because Sky had been so good. She knew that if they didn't place very well that she could still benifit from the experience, and already Sky seemed happier.
