When you sell a horse you must keep in mind:
1 - Dont get too big with the money. For Example, you may not sell an untrained horse for $50,000.
2 - ALL horses have a 'rating' when they come to ORA. This rating is displayed in each horse's stall. THOUGH YOU CAN SELL YOUR HORSE FOR ANY PRICE these are some prices that you can sell your horse for and probably get the money.
Untrained: Not broken/ never been ridden - $500 - $1000
Green Broke: Rideable but isnt trained completley - $1500 - $ 2500
Beginner: Started learning to train in a class (show jumping, dressage ,etc.) $2500 - $6500
Intermediate: Has a fair amount of training in a class - $6500 - $10000
Advanced: Has a very large amount of training in a class - $10000 - $15000
Master: Has completley mastered a class - $15000 - $30000
Professional: Has completley masterd several classes - $30000 - $50000
Champion: Has completley mastered ALL classes (this includes- Show jumping, Dressage, Cross country, all other classes are good too but in order to become champion they just have to have these 3.) - $50000 and everything above.
definition of 'mastered' in ORA terms (just for the confused) - the horse must place 1st (NOTHING below) in 25 different shows of the class you are working on. For example, if im training my horse in Show Jumping i would have to compete in 25 different shows and place 1st in the show jumping portion.
3 - Please have at least 6 -7 sentences when putting your horse up for sale.
4 - Please put (anywhere on the thread) the horse's stats:
Name
Age
Personality
Color
Breed
Disipline
Rating
Price
You MAY put these in application form OR you can include it somewhere in your post (Ex. the auctioneer can say all of that)
4 - PICTURES. If you are going to sell a horse you MUST have a picture. You can post in the HELP! thread to ask for people to help you find one but pictures of your horse are mandatory.
