Flyte was sitting below a tree, leaning against the tree trunk, her nose buried in the book. She was sure she had read this one about ten times by now, but it didn't matter. It was detailed in blood and gore, and kept her mind away from other thoughts. So far this had been her only escape from Pierre's words. Even Masafumi couldn't get them out of her head. Falone was sitting on her knee, half asleep. Flyte was also feeling exhausted, but she forced her eyes to stay open and concentrate on the page. So far all sleeping did was worsen her state and increase her fear. She knew she couldn't go the rest of her life without sleeping, but maybe after a while the nightmares would leave.

Kamion walked over and sat down next to Flyte. "What are you doing here? I was just going for a walk." He decided to explain that he hadn't been stalking her. He knew she wouldn't be happy if she thought that he had been. "You look too tired to be outside. Don't you have, like, a home?"

Flyte didn't look up as Kamion came over. She was quietly willing him away, but when he sat down besides her she gave up and glanced at him. "I'm reading." She said sourly, turning back to her book and ignoring his last question. She wouldn't admit that she was, in fact, completely tired and really would like to go home and snuggle up with Masafumi. She could feel another dizzy spell coming on, but ignored it.

Kamion pretended to be hurt by her bitterness. "I was only wondering." He said, leaning back against the tree and glancing at the raven. "Do birds always sit on you?" He didn't really like birds. His mother went bird watching when he was a kid and she always dragged him with her. He thought they were completely boring.

Falone eyed Kamion as the boy talked about him. "That's Falone. I've had him for five years." Flyte said, stroking his back and blinked as the dizzniess hit her, along with a headache. She sighed and closed her eyes. Not bothering with the book anymore she closed it and put it in her lap.

"Oh." Kam said hesitantly, watching Falone before turning to look at flyte. "Hey, you okay?" He asked, touching her arm slightly as she closed her eyes. He pulled away quickly though, scared the raven would bite him.

Most people would be surprised at how quickly Flyte could suddenly get sick. She was used to it, though headaches made her feel more like shit than anything else ever had. "Yeah...just...fine." She muttered, hoping it went away soon. Falone turned to look at his human friend and rumbled softly in his chest.

"You don't look fine." Kamion said, starting to get worried. He wasn't sure what he would do if Flyte got sick. He looked at the raven and stood up. "Come on, where's your house? I'll take you home." He glanced up at the sun. It was getting lower. And the autumn air was cold, he didn't want her getting even more sick from a chill.

Flyte looked up at him, and tried to focus her vision on him. It didn't work, she was still seeing doubles. "This is my home." She said stubbornly. The woods technically were her home. And had been for a long time. She turned her head away from him, hoping he would give up and leave her alone.

Kamion sighed and did give up. But he wasn't going to leave her. So instead he knelt down and scooped her up. I'm such a retard...she has a boyfriend doesn't she? Damn, he's going to kill me. He sighed and looked down at her. "Tell me where your house is or I'll bring you to mine. And trust me, you don't want to talk to my parents while you're sick. They go insane." Bringing her to his house, another bad idea. But what was he going to do? He wasn't going to leave her there.

Flyte sighed, also giving up. She had trouble being stubborn with a headache pounding in her ears. She allowed herself to be picked up, though every part of her was screaming. It didn't matter, she wasn't sure she could walk anyway. But Kam didn't smell like Masafumi, nor did he try to handle her all that softly. Maybe she should just go home to Masi. Every time she wasn't with him she was missing him. "A condo..." She told him the address and hoped he knew the way because she wouldn't be able to help him with her vision. She knew how to get there, though, if Kam really needed help.

"Okay..." Kamion said, also hoping he'd be able to find it. He glanced again at the raven, it was making him nervous for some reason. He turned and started walking, easily holding Flyte up. "You're really light..." He said, eying her. He was trying not to think about what would happen if anyone saw them. They'd probably think they were going out, or something, and he was just trying to be romantic. If her boyfriend saw them, he had no idea what he would do. Either way, it wouldn't be that fun. He really didn't want a black eye.

Falone ruffled his feathers and turned his back on Kamion, as if knowing how he was feeling and was offended by it. "Just shuddup and get me home." Flyte growled. She didn't care if she was light. The only thing she had eaten in three days was a piece of toast, so that might explain it a bit. She didn't even know why people got concerned when she didn't eat. Very little could sustain her for a long time, as long as she had water. And sleep. She thought grudgingly. She wasn't comfortable at all, but she tried her best not to shift. She was dizzy, she had a headache, she could feel a throat burn coming on, and she was uncomfortably warm. "You deserve to be uncomfortable, you deserve to be in a jail cell."

"Okay, okay." Kamion sighed, ignoring Falone."Why do you hate people so much?" He had to ask. When he first met her she had been absolutely quiet and gloomy. When he got to know her more, she just kept trying to get him to go away. He wanted to be her friend, but she wouldn't let him.

Flyte sighed, trying to think of how to answer. Technically, she had a good reason for not liking people. "I don't know." She finally said warily. She just wanted to get home. She had no idea what she would do when she got there, seeing as she couldn't sleep. But being a warm house in a bed was better than being outside on the cold ground.
